ABOUT US: THE FRANCOMBS STORY
It started with a simple, honest idea: make good food, keep it fresh, and treat people like family.
For years, Francombs has been a staple of the local community. We didn't set out to be a massive chain; we set out to be the place you could rely on for a proper lunch. Whether you're a tradesman needing a hearty breakfast to fuel a long shift, or office staff looking for a fresh, handmade sandwich that actually tastes like something, we've always believed you deserve better than the average. Our Caesar salad, served on a base of your choice, is always a firm favourite!
The Francombs Difference
We don't believe in cutting corners. From our signature sandwich recipes to our daily specials, everything we serve is made fresh to order. We know that a good lunch is the difference between a long day and a great one, which is why we put so much care into every sandwich, salad and jacket potato that leaves our counter.
Growing With You
What began as a simple shop has grown into a family of establishments. From our roots on Rochester's Medway City Estate to our second home in Sittingbourne, our fully refurbished Francombs Diner, and Francombs Grill on the Medway City Estate, we've stayed true to our core values: quality ingredients, handmade food, and a warm welcome.
We've evolved to meet the needs of our customer, offering easy Click & Collect for those on the move and partnering with the best delivery services to bring our food straight to your desk or door.
More Than Just Lunch
We're proud to be part of the local landscape, feeding the people who keep our towns moving. We've not just a sandwich shop; we're a team of people who love what we do, and we've grateful to have you at our counter.
Whether you've been with us since day one or you're just discovering us today, thanks for being part of the Francombs story. We're looking forward to serving you your next favourite lunch.
